Hello!
I'm Sophie, a French-raised, culinary-trained, documentary filmmaker focused on food and immigrant communities in the Hudson Valley.
I'm the Junior Sous Chef and lead photographer for
The Wild, a farm-to-table, gluten-free restaurant based in Beacon, NY. Outside of cooking, I'm a freelance video editor for Whirligig Pictures and Fluence Education.

I hold a Bachelor's degree from Wellesley College (2022), where I directed, edited and produced my first documentary, Planting Roots, about a local CSA farm.

I'm currently directing and editing a docuseries about immigrant-run restaurants in the Hudson Valley, the first episode of which will be released this coming Spring.

I've worked for French news agency Agence France-Presse, Ecuadorian media company Comidas Que Curan, and Minnesota-based Beer Dabbler and am currently looking to hone my skills as a food photographer.
